Where product authority meets implementation autonomy
Healthy agentic delivery needs a clear boundary: engineering and coding agents control implementation detail; product owners review changes that alter the intended value or scope.
Define the handoff
Send the goal, user outcome, scope, constraints, acceptance conditions, relevant decisions, and known uncertainty into implementation.
Classify what changes
A technical choice within agreed boundaries can stay with engineering. A change to user value, material scope, policy, or commitment returns to product authority.
- Avoid approval for routine implementation detail
- Escalate material drift
- Record the resolved decision
See the practice in context
A structured manifest makes the product decision available without prescribing every technical choice.
Maintain a usable feedback path
Implementation constraints should improve the product plan rather than remain hidden in a repository conversation.
Examples of the authority boundary
Changing a storage pattern, component structure, or test approach can remain an engineering decision when it satisfies the agreed constraints. Removing an acceptance condition, narrowing the user segment, or changing a promised workflow alters the product decision and needs product review.
Product control is not technical control
Prodeology does not approve code, choose architecture, or replace engineering quality systems.
