How living product context supports better decisions

This guide explains what belongs in product intelligence, how it reaches active work, and why provenance and human review matter.

What product intelligence contains

It combines durable product foundations, customer and market evidence, decisions, goals, planned work, and relevant execution context.

How it enters a decision

Prodeology retrieves relevant context for the task, keeps sources distinguishable, and uses it to frame questions or recommendations.

  • Prefer relevant context over maximum context
  • Retain provenance
  • Flag conflict and uncertainty

See the practice in context

Context is useful when it is current, attributable, and connected to a decision.

What good looks like

A team can explain why work exists, which evidence supports it, what remains uncertain, and what changed since the prior decision.

A practical context check

Before a decision, ask which company goal governs it, what direct evidence exists, which prior decisions constrain it, and what has changed since those sources were created. Missing or contradictory answers become explicit research questions rather than silent assumptions.

Knowledge still needs stewardship

Stale, incomplete, or contradictory inputs remain possible. Teams must maintain authoritative sources and resolve important conflicts.
